Pfizer is the largest pharmaceutical company in the world operating in the Healthcare sector. The company generated $58.99 billion in revenues in 2012 and its net income was $14.6 billion for the same year. Pfizer has been producing blockbuster drugs since 1950, the most profitable of which has been Lipitor, a cholesterol-lowering medicine. The company operates in five business segments which include Primary Care, Specialty Care and Oncology, Established Products and Emerging Markets, Consumer Healthcare and Animal Healthcare.
